Thomas Brennan, owner of Thomas Carpet Cleaning and Restoration, was recently featured by Cleanfax in an interview and podcast highlighting his 30-year journey in the cleaning and restoration industry.
Brennan’s career started in high school when he took an after-school job with a local cleaning company as part of a vocational program. What began as a way to leave school early quickly turned into a lifelong profession. In 1994, Brennan purchased the company and renamed it Thomas Carpet Cleaning and Restoration, a name that reflected the personal relationships he had already built with customers across Clarksville.
Over the years, the business expanded from carpet cleaning into full restoration services, including water damage restoration, fire and smoke remediation, mold removal, and hard floor care. Today, the company serves homeowners throughout Clarksville, greater Tennessee, and southern Kentucky.
Brennan credits the longevity of the company to the people who work alongside him. Several team members have been with the company for more than a decade, and Brennan emphasizes hiring people who treat every home with the same care they would give their own family.
Throughout the interview, Brennan also spoke about the importance of guiding homeowners through difficult situations such as water damage and fire loss. Restoration work often means helping families navigate insurance claims, protect their homes, and recover items with deep personal value.
After three decades in business, Brennan says the goal has always been simple: treat people fairly and show up when they need help. That philosophy continues to shape the reputation of Thomas Carpet Cleaning and Restoration in the Clarksville community.
